Siloam Springs — William J. Stewart, 80, of Siloam Springs, died today at his home. Born Aug. 2, 1892 in Greenwood the son of Dan and Zella Bassett Stewart, he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, a retired manager of Dyke Lumber Co., and a Mason.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nellie F. Stewart of the home; two sons, William, Jr. of Springdale and Dan of Siloam Springs; three brothers, Marvin and Curtis of Greenwood and Alfred of Fort Smith; one sister, Mrs. A. H. Robertson, of Fort Smith; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at two p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
