SILOAM SPRINGS (Special) - Franklin Stewart, 84, who died Tuesday in a Hot Springs hospital after an extended illness, were scheduled to be conducted this afternoon at 2 p.m. in Pyeatte Chapel by the Rev. Henry Riley. Burial was to be in Highfill cemetery.

Mr. Stewart was born February 20, 1877 at Heber Springs and had been a resident of Hot Springs for the past 36 years.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Been of Salinas, Ca.; nine sons, Merrell of Siloam Springs, Ed of Flint, Mich., Frank of Nashville, Tenn., Clemmie of Popluar Grove, Guion of Malton, Ill., Reedus of Bradford, Johnny of Jacksonville, Woodley of Bentonville and Alvin of Knob Noster, Mo.; one brother, Walter Stewart of Van Buren and two sisters, Mrs. Ona Gray, also of Van Buren and Mrs. Alice Norman of Bald Knot. 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
