Robert Montgomery Stewart was born at Brownsville, Tennessee June 28, 1840 and died at Rogers, Arkansas December 20, 1927 at 5 o'clock at the age of 87 years, 5 months and 22 days. He was married January 10, 1860 to Nancy A. Gordon and to this union were born four children. He joined the Harmony Baptist church at Hutchinson, Kansas in 1873, a member of which he remained until his death. He is survived by one son, Colon Stewart of Cabool, Mo. and two daughters, Mrs. E.R. Harris of Rogers, Ark. and Mrs. Charles Henninger of Lowell, Ark. Also by two grandchildren, Colon and Hazel Henninger. The Rev. Wm. Lee Edwards of the First Christian church preached the funeral and the burial was conducted by J.R. Bryant.

Uncle Bob Stewart passed away on Tuesday morning, Dec. 20th, after about a year of failing health due to old age, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emmit Harris. Burial was in the Rogers cemetery Wednesday morning. We extend heartfelt sympathy to the ones left behind.

Robert M. Stewart, 87 years old, died Tuesday, December 20. The funeral was held Wednesday, Rev. W.L. Edwards of the Christian church officiating. Mr. Stewart was a native of Tennessee and had lived in Benton Co. for many years. He was married in 1860 to Miss Nancy Gordon at Hutchinson, Kansas. He is survived by one son, Colon Stewart of Cabool, Mo. and two daughters, Mrs. E.R. Harris of Rogers and Mrs. Charles Henninger of Lowell. "Uncle Bob" was known to and loved by an unusually large circle of friends and neighbors.

STEWART, Robert Montgomery - {from Stony Point} R.M. Stewart, familiarly known as Uncle Bob, died December 20th at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E.R. Harris. Mr. Stewart was born in Tennessee 87 years ago and moved to this county before the Civil war. One son and two daughters survive him.

STEWART, Mrs. Robert - {from Stony Point} Mrs. Robert Stewart died early Saturday morning after a few hours illness. She is survived by her aged husband and three children, Miss Nora and Mrs. Chas. Henninger, who live here, and Colon, who doesn't live here, other relatives and friends. Burial was in Rogers cemetery Monday. The deceased has been a resident of this community for many years and will be sadly missed.
