ROGERS — Mary Elizabeth Bigham Ash, 68, of Rogers, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Innisfree Nursing Center in Rogers. She was born Oct. 2, 1941, at Cero Gordo, Okla., to Johnny Joseph Bigham and Annie Laverne Smith Bigham. She retired from Pel-Freeze after 27 years. She loved to fish, listen to the birds sing, work crossword puzzles, but most of all she loved her job. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Rogers and is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Bigham.
Survivors are three sons, Jackie Daniels of Pineville, Mo., Scottie Daniels and Jamie Daniels, both of Rogers; one daughter, Danette Johnson of Seligman, Mo.; one brother, Randy Bigham and wife Carol of Rogers; six sisters, Bernice Drymon, Shirley Dalbey, Clara Gibbs, Sharon Severs, all of Rogers, Loretta Griggs and husband Junior of Springdale, and Faye Hufford of Pea Ridge; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Monday, June 7 at Buttram Chapel Cemetery in Pea Ridge with Jackie Chesnutt officiating. Visitation is set for 5-7 p.m. today, June 6 at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
