ROGERS — Norma Lodema Ash of Rogers passed away on Jan. 10, 2017. She was born on July 9, 1918, in the Pine Log community near Lost Bridge to the late Joe and Etta Bowman.

Norma will be remembered as a good Christian woman who was proud of the family she raised and the home she tended. She was a gifted seamstress, gardener, and cook. She was a mother and wife who guided her family through difficult times with her strong spirit. She taught Sunday school for many years at Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers, where she and her husband Troy were longtime members.

Survivors include her children, Lodema Nelson and husband Dan of Rogers, Dennis Ash of Springdale, Merle Ash and wife Patti of Aurora, Mo., Carroll Ash of Nixa, Mo.; grandchildren, Dalette Rhinehart, Dana Howard, Debbi Campbell,
Karen Ash, Morgan Sutton; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a brother, JD Bowman.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield. Online condolences may be made at www.RollinsFuneral.com.
