Johnnie 0. Russell

GRAVETTE - Johnnie Orville Russell, 81, of Gravette died Oct. 26, 1995, at his home. He was born Feb. 10, 1913, at Vinita, Okla., to Isham Samuel and Nora B. Henage Russell. He was owner and operator of a garage and auto supply until his retirement in 1976. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a retired member of the Gravette Fire Department and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Leta Hager Russell of Gravette, to whom he was married in August 1949; one son, John Lee Russell of Lafayette, La.; one daughter, Billie Lou Hensley of Dimmitt, Texas, two brothers, Jack Russell of Gravette and Richard Russell of Carpinteria, Calif.; five sisters, Ruby Musgrove of Granada Hills, Calif., Phyllis Belles of Burney, Calif., Betty Thompson of San Pablo, Calif., Mary Benedict of Hayes, Kan., and Donna Dunsmore of Bixby, Okla.: seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bethel Cemetery south of Gravette with Pastor John Benford officiating. Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Gravette.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
