GRAVETTE - Earl (Jack) Jackson Russell, 91, of Gravette, Ark., passed away Nov. 29, 2014, at Ozark Community Hospital, Gravette, Ark. Born March 22, 1923 in Grove, Okla., he was the son of Samuel and Nora (Henage) Russell.
Jack and Clara Hayes were married May 18, 1946 in Decatur, Ark.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Jack was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by five sisters Vera Mae Russell, Dorotha Musgrove, Ruby Musgrave, Donna Dunsmore and Phyllis Belles; two brothers Johnny and Ray Russell.
Survivors include his wife Clara of the home; son James Russell of Gravette, Ark.; four grandchildren Jeff Russell, Paul Russell, Tabby Crane and Cassie Gillming; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Mary Frances Benedict of Hayes, Kansas and Betty Thompson of San Pablo, Calif., and his brother Richard Russell of Carpenteria, Calif.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at Hillcrest Cemetery, Gravette, Ark.
Viewing will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.

Clara Ruth Russell, 90, of Gravette, Arkansas, died July 8, 2016, at Circle of Life Hospice at Legacy Village in Bentonville, AR. She was born December 15, 1925, and was the daughter of Jess Hayes and Sadie (Etris) Hayes. Clara and Jack Russell were married May 18, 1946. She worked as a check processor for the Bank of Gravett, then worked at the Gravette Clinic before retiring. Clara and Jack spent the last several years raising cattle on their farm.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and daughter in law.
Survivors include her son, James Russell of Gravette, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Jeff Russell of Cape Coral, Florida, Paul Russell of Gravette, Arkansas, Tabby Crane of Gravette, Arkansas, and Cassie Glover of Gravette, Arkansas; and twelve great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gravette, Arkansas. An open viewing will be from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
