RUSSELL, Vera May - Vera May, first born of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Russell, after a brief illness, suffering intensely part of the time, was released from all sorrow and pain Thursday, April 13, 1922 at 10 o'clock p.m. We can truly say she was a loving and loveable soul, a great favorite, from her good morning to earth life to her good bye; ever ready to gladden the hearts of all around her, by smile and word and deed. Vera May came to brighten the home February 10, 1911 and began trying to help mama and being a little mother to the younger children at a very tender age. She was very fond of flowers and how fitting the wealth of bloom placed upon her grave by the thoughtful kindness of school mates and other friends. Your loving Uncle and Aunty Buck. The funeral was conducted by Rev. I.M. Phillips of the Baptist church and interment was made in Dow cemetery Friday.
