Paul H. Russell, 69, of Westville died Sunday in Siloam Springs Hospital. He was born Nov.5, 1904, the son of J.B. and Ellen Pool Russell, and was a farmer and a Methodist. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Winnie Russell of Cincinnati; three brothers, Joe and Haskell of Westville and James of Cottonwood, CA; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Wilkie and Mrs. Olvie Condry, both of Westville and Mrs. Stella Branchcombe of Anderson,CA. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Robert's Funeral Chapel in Westville with burial in Oakhill Cemetery at Siloam Springs,AR.

SILOAM SPRINGS — Winnie Lamons Russell, 94, of Siloam Springs died Jan. 2, 2006, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Sept. 6, 1911, in Adair County, Okla., to Joe Newton and Freddie Jane Lamons. She was a 1948 graduate of John Brown University in Siloam Springs with a bachelor of science degree, and in 1955 earned a masters degree in education from the University of Arkansas. She was a teacher for 42 years, before retiring in 1973. She moved to Siloam Springs in 1974, where she was active in the First Methodist Church, the Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and was a charter member of the local Delta Kappa Gamma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Russell.
Survivors include three sisters, Ruth Smith of Midland, Texas, Helen Griffin of Summers and Betty Jo Bean of Siloam Springs; two nieces, Shirley Moreland and Sharron Smith; one nephew, Sammy Joe Griffin.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with Dr. Larry Dodgen officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will he from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Siloam Springs, Siloam Springs High School Scholarship Fund or Siloam Springs Hospital Auxiliary.
