Nell Irene Webb, 90, of Pea Ridge, died Friday, July 9, at her home.
She was born June 29, 1903, in Benton County to Houston Vincent Chiles and Cora Ann Hickman Chiles. A lifetime resident of the Pea Ridge area, she was a pioneer in the poultry business in Northwest Arkansas and was owner of Webb's Feed Store 1936-1970. She was a member of the Martha Chapter of the Eastern Star, Rogers, and a member of the Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church for 71 years. Her husband, Hugh H. Webb Sr., died in 1965. She was also preceded in death by a brother, William Chiles, and two sisters, Zelda and Mary Chiles.
Survivors are a son, Hugh Webb Jr. of Pea Ridge; two daughters, Mable McKinney and Eula Mae Walker, both of Pea Ridge; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 10:30 a.m. today at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Pam Bolerjack officiating. Burial is to be in Pea Ridge Cemetery.
