Wilson Carroll Webb

Wilson Carroll Webb, 56, of Pea Ridge, died Wednesday at his home. He was born May 31, 1918, in Pea Ridge and was a lifetime resident of the town.

He was a well-known businessman and was an early pioneer in the poultry supply business in Benton County. He was a partner with Webb Feed Store since 1936, helped to organize the Pea Ridge fire department, was a charter member of the Pea Ridge Kiwanis Club, was an active member of the Pea Ridge Chamber of Commerce, served on the Pea Ridge city council for four years and was an elder in the Pea Ridge Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Louise "Jimmie" Webb, of the home; his son, David Webb, of the home; and two sisters, Mae Miller of Pea Ridge, and Edna Snyder of Silver Springs, Md.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Friday at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert S. Richardson officiating. Burial will be in the Pea Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. The family requests donations to the Presbyterian scholarship fund in lieu of flowers. Donations can be left with the Rev. Robert Richardson, pastor Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church in Pea Ridge.
