CLINT WEBB, PEA RIDGE FARMER, DEAD
Clint Webb, member of a family of early Pea Ridge settlers, died at his home northwest of that town Sunday afternoon at the age of 32 years. Funeral services were held at the Pea Ridge Baptist Church, Monday afternoon, the Rev. John Harris conducting the services. Burial was made in the Buttram Chapel cemetery. Six nephews acted as pallbearers.
Besides his widow and four children, he is survived by his aged parents, and nine brothers and two sisters; Ernest, Albert, Hugh, Todd, Ed and Pete Webb of Pea Ridge community; Oscar and Steve Webb of Tulsa, Okla., also Frank Webb of Washburn, Mo., Mrs. Willie Gowan and Mrs. James Mitchell of Seligman.
Born on Pea Ridge in 1902, where his entire life had been spent, he was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Webb. In 1926 he married Miss Wanda Foster, to whom were born four children, Kenneth, Howard, Dean and Dottie.
Mr. Webb’s death was the first break in the family circle. His parents are about 80 years of age, and he was the youngest of a family of 12 children. All, including the parents, were at his funeral.
