Donald Wright

ROGERS — Donald Wright, 91, died Jan. 17, 2006. He was born Nov, 7, 1914, in Riceville, Iowa, to Gus and Nellie Sisley Wright. He married Eileen McDonald on March 29, 1940. They moved to the area in Septmber 1978 from Waterloo, Iowa. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a life-time member of the American Legion, a charter member of the WWII Memorial, the Questers Woodchucks and the Odd Fellows since 1945. His hobbies were fishing in Canada, hunting and collecting antiques and was a baseball fan.

Survivors Include his wife, Eileen of the home; one brother-in-law, Robert Bottomley; one sister-1n-law, Bethal Lowe; three nieces, Karen Eileen Harder, Karla Lowe-Phelps, Katherine Jean Duke: two nephews, James Allen Bottomley, Thomas Craig Bottomley; 15 great-great-grandnieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at ll a.m. Saturday at Rogers Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church and the Circle of Life Hospice.

Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service, Rogers.
