ALLEN, David - Mr. David Allen died at his home a short distance North of town Wednesday night about midnight. Funeral services will be held at the Adventist church today at 10 o'clock, conducted by Eld. Sommerville. The remains will be interred in the Fitzgerald cemetery north of town. The deceased was a native of Kentucky and had been a resident of this place for some fifteen years. He was a good citizen, a member of the Adventist Church and was universally respected and esteemed by all who knew him. He leaves a wife and six children, three sons and three daughters, all of whom were present to comfort and minister to him during hip last hours, except his son, John, who is in Battle Creek, Mich., and a married daughter who resides in Texas. The family has the sympathy of the entire community.
