ALLEN, Mattie - (from The Prairie Grove Herald) Miss Mattie Allen, daughter of the late Abe and Katherine Allen, died at the home of R.M. Morton Wednesday morning Nov. 11th at 4 o'clock. Miss Allen was almost an invalid, having been afflicted since her earliest childhood, but was taken suddenly ill Tuesday afternoon about 3 o'clock from which she never rallied. The deceased was 31 years of age and leaves a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Dorman of Prairie Grove, and three half sisters, Mrs. R.M. Morton of Farmington, Mrs. W.H. Morton of Fayetteville and Mrs. Mary Gaskill of Muskogee.

(from Farmington) Miss Mat Allen died at the home of Mr. Morton last Wednesday night and was buried Thursday the 19th at Farmington.
