ALLEN, Mrs. Lem — (from Farmington] Mrs. Lem Allen died Thursday from an operation for tumor performed Monday. Mr. Allen and his little children have the sympathy of the community.

(Cemetery Hill) Mrs. Lem Allen died Wednesday after suffering several years with an abscess. Mrs. Allen, after being treated at home, went to St. Louis for treatment. Not being benefited, went to Nevada, Mo., she thought she was nearly cured, but finally grew worse, and lived only a short time.
