ALLEN, Hattie REED - {from Cane Hill} Mrs. Hattie Allen, wife of James Allen, died at her father's, J.J. Reed, Sunday at 11 o'clock and was buried Monday in the West graveyard in Greasy Valley. Mrs. Allen had been sick for several months and it was thought she had consumption but the immediate cause of death was typhoid fever.
