SPRINGDALE — Doris Mae Allen, 72, of Springdale died Dec. 4, 2000, at Springdale. She was born Sept. 18, 1928, in Borger, Texas, to Louis and Pearl Kirkpatrick McCrary. She was a homemaker and a member of Berry Street Baptist Church and Stoney Valley County Extension Club.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar Allen of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Bryant and Larry of Springdale; four brothers, Claude McCrary of Calhan, Colo., Marvin McCrary of Eads, Colo,, Gerald McCrary of Charlotte, N.C., and Wayne McCrary of Lumberton, N.C.; two sisters, Virginia Allen of Calhan and Noveda Forshee of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Berry Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Perry officiating.
Burial will be in Sonora Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lee Allen II, Lee Allen III, Brian Wolfe, Paul Davis, Allen Bryant and Richard Bundrick.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Wolfe, Lonnie Hawkins and Jared Allen.
