October 10, 1895 - March 20, 1966
Jewette Arnold, 70, well known Camden man, died suddenly Sunday morning in his home on Route 2. He had lived here since 1933 and was a retired employee of Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company. Mr. Arnold is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ellen Hodges Arnold; two daughters, Mrs. Russell Bourland and Mrs. Thomas Gaughan, both of Camden; one sister, Mrs. Bertie Lockard of Little Rock; one brother, Clarence Arnold of Judsonia; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at Proctor Funeral Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. The body will remain at the funeral home. (Camden News - March 21, 1966)
