Geraldine C. Davis 11 Feb 1923 - November 7, 2016

Geraldine C. (Ivy) Davis died on Monday, November 7, 2016 in Daphne, Alabama.

She was born in Marcella, Arkansas to Grover and Essie (Logan) Ivy.
Geraldine was an accomplished seamstress and pianist. Educated in Desha and Batesville, she worked assembling aircraft in Detroit, Michigan, she then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she worked and retired from McDonnel-Douglas. She and her husband moved to Lynn, Arkansas, and then she spent the last several years living with her daughter in Daphne, Alabama.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheri Murphy and husband, Mike of Daphne.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Davis; and her brother, Wallace Allen Ivy.

The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church in Black Rock. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
