Alvin the son of Edgar Franklin and Roxie Naomi (East) Davis. Vivian the daughter of John W. and Ina (Moore) Austin.
Vivian Davis
Vivian Austin Davis, 93, of Walnut Ridge, died Feb. 2, 2010.
She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County and a member of United Free Will Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Alvin W. Davis; her parents, John W. and Ina Moore Austin; a sister, Helen Austin Holmes; and two brothers, John "Buddy" Austin and Paul Austin.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Clark, Walnut Ridge, and Patricia Register and husband Otis, South Carolina; two sons, Billy Davis and wife Sarah, and Bobby Davis and wife Vicky, all of Walnut Ridge; two sisters, Doris Kirkland, Conway, and Mildred Austin, Hoxie; a sister-in-law, Jane Austin, Walnut Ridge; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home with Charles Hendrix officiating. Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Blaine Davis, Garett Davis, Jeffery Hart, Wilson Davis, Austin Davis and Chris Madden.
Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
