Wife of (1) William P. Pickett (marr. Dec 1841), (2) Mr. Davis (marr. between 1848-1854)
This gravestone was originally placed in New Hope Cemetery to mark the grave of Joseph F. Pickett. At some point after the death of Joseph's wife, Sarah Catherine McClure Pickett, a new gravestone was placed in New Hope Cemetery for Joseph and Sarah, and the old stone was moved to Old Lebanon to mark the grave of his mother, Martha Jane Freeze Pickett Davis. Martha Janes's grave is located near the graves of her son, William Davis, and John Casper.
