BOY, AGED 10, KILLS SISTER, AGED 6 - A very sad accident occurred at the home of Edmond and Mrs. White who reside one mile west of town, this morning at 9:30 o'clock.
The women folks were cleaning house and had moved an old muzzle loading shotgun from its rack and the boy procured the gun. He was in a room with his little six-year-old sister, Jessie, who was sitting under a table making pens with grains of corn when the gun in the hands of Willie White was discharged. The boy says the gun was discharge accidentally, and being at close range the entire load entered the little girl's right shoulder, killing her instantly. The entire community sympathized with the bereaved ones in this their greatest sorrow.
