White River Current, Calico Rock, Arkansas, January 19, 1978:
Troy P. White aged 75 of Melbourne died January 13 at Calico Rock Medical Center.
Mr. White was the son of John White and Cora Stroud White and was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife Audie Faye Robins White of Melbourne; one son Eugene White of Mtn. Home; 2 daughters, Doris Jean Jones of New Mexico and Nadine Shelton of Kansas; 4 brothers, Charley White of Calico Rock, Darcy White of Oxford, Tommy White of Washington state and Dale White also of Washington; 2 sisters, Georgia Wingate of Oklahoma and Jessie Fleming of Washington. Also 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
The funeral was at Melbourne Church of Christ on January 16. Minister Dennis Crawford officiating.
Arrangements were under direction of Howard Funeral Home. Burial was at Oxford.
Pallbearers were Son Lamb, Howard Lamb, Kirby Ward, Orbra Ward and Jerry Ward.
