BOYD, Nancy - {from Habberton} The death angel came in our midst last Saturday at 5 p.m. and wafted away on his snowy wings the soul of Mrs. Nancy Boyd and all that is mortal now rests in the cemetery at Friendship. She was the mother of ten children, five of them, with her husband Ezekiel Boyd, have passed over the dark valley before her. Mrs. Alva Harp of Sonora, Mrs. Lizzie Campbell of Custer, Okla., Willis of Ware, Idaho, Lewis and Ellis of Two Buttes, Colo., all were present with the exception of Mrs. Campbell and Willis at the funeral. The other gentlemen were unable to get here until after her death. A noble and patient mother, a kind neighbor, a devoted Christian, all may truthfully be said of her. She was visiting her granddaughter, Mrs. 011ie Vanzant at the time of her death. She was loved and esteemed by all who knew her and all sympathize with the children and grandchildren in their great loss.
