Arthur's parents were George Thomas Harris and Martha Huskey Harris; Florene's parents were Charles Luther and Laura Jane (McNutt) Cason.
SAFFELL -- Arthur Harris, 89, of Saffell died Sunday, July 27, at the Cave City Nursing Home.
Born at Saffell, he was a retired merchant and farmer and a member of the Strawberry Church of Christ where he served as a deacon for more than forty years.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Cason Harris of the home; one son, Charles Thomas Harris of Saffell; one daughter, Lillian Durham of Pocahontas; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Strawberry Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Ward Cemetery near Strawberry under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the church.

Born in Saffell, she was a homemaker and a member of Strawberry Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Charles Thomas Harris of Saffell; a daughter, Lillian Durham of Pocahontas; a brother, Roy Cason of Arlington, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Harris; her parents, Charley and Laura McNutt Cason; a son; and two brothers.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Strawberry Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Ward Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Strawberry Church of Christ.
