July 2, 1947 — September 28, 2024
Phyllis Gail Harris, 77, of Strawberry passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 in Strawberry. She was born July 2, 1947 in Strawberry to Claude and Florine (Huskey) Harris. She was a graduate of Strawberry High School, a member of Saffell Missionary Baptist Church, worked twenty-five years for Gen Corp. and owned H&H Designs Embroidery for twenty years. Phyllis enjoyed flowers, gardening, her great grandkids, helping with the youth program at Saffell Missionary Baptist Church and was known as the “Candy Lady”.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Kara Shayne Watts and one brother, Larry Harris.
Survivors include one son, Shane Watts (Lisa) of Strawberry; two daughters, Tally Scott (Mark) of Batesville and Tanya Haigwood (Stan) of Newport; one sister in law, Lyda Ann Harris of Strawberry; five grandchildren, Levi Watts (Ashley), Bailey Scott, Austin Scott, Seth Haigwood and Erin Magail Haigwood; four great grandchildren, Atalas, Athan, Leona and Zeke Watts, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at the Saffell Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery at Strawberry.
Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 1:00 p.m. to service time at the church.

Pallbearers will be Levi Watts, Seth Haigwood, Austin Scott, Jared Harris, Kevin Harris, Kelly McDermott, Holden McDermott and Vance Lewallen.
Honorary Pallbearers are the kids of One Way at Saffell Missionary Baptist Church.
