GRAVETTE — Violet ImoJean Douglas, 77, of Gravette died Aug. 29, 2004, at her home. She was born Aug. 22, 1927, near Hiwasse to Willie and Ruth Duncan.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Douglas of Gravette; four children, Brenda Douglas Herbaugh of Prattville, Ala., David E. Douglas of Fayetteville, Ronnie A. Douglas and Stephen D. Douglas, both of Gravette; two sisters, Maxine Roberts of Gravette and Eula Mae Duncan of Tulsa, Okla.; eight grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Bella Vista Funeral Home with Dan Fagala and Gene Roberts officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Mary's Hospice, 1001 W. Walnut, Suite 3, Rogers, 72756 or the American Cancer Society, c/o Dorothy J. Mortensen, 4 Kensington Lane, Bella Vista, 72714.
