HENRY, George E. - (from Pea Ridge} The sympathetic hearts of this place were sadly touched Saturday morning to learn of the death of Prof. George E. Henry of Bentonville. Mr. Henry had recently spent two years in the schools here. He was the last superintendent to issue diplomas from the old historic academy building which housed the schools here until last year. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Baptist church under the direction of A.D. Callison. Funeral condolence was offered by the Rev. W.E. White, pastor of the Baptist church of Bentonville. A large concourse of friends passed the remains at the church and at the cemetery the Masonic Order of this place conducted their ritualistic ceremony.
