Son of Dr. William Riley Caststeel & Martha A. Akins Caststeel.
Married (1) Mrs. Prudence Ann Beavers Hedrick.
Married (2) January 27, 1900, Mrs. Arizona Belle Cockrum Wood.
He and Prudence Ann Beavers Hedrick Caststeel were the parents of three sons: Henry Preston, William Riley, & Andrew Jackson.
He and Arizona Belle Cockrum Wood were the parents of one daughter: Nellie (married Ralph Perry).
