Ernest Marvin Pace, 84, of Garfield died Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, in his home. He was born April 20, 1936, in Hoxie, Ark., to Ernest George Pace and Opal Pearl Hutsell Pace.
He lived in Hoxie until the age of 18, then was a railroad switchman for the Wichita, Kan., Terminal. He enjoyed playing basketball, baseball, hunting and fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandpa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sondra Pace; two infant siblings, J.G. Pace and Freddie Mae Pace; and three brothers, Darrell, Harold and Tom Pace.
Survivors are three children, Tim Pace of Winchendon, Mass., Tammie Graham and husband Vern of Caldwell, Kan., and Jessica Pace of Seligman, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, in Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge.
Graveside service is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, in Pace Cemetery in Garfield.
Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Sondra Jean Pace, 80, of Garfield, died in her home surrounded by her family June 15, 2020. She was born Nov. 15, 1939 in Shubert, Neb., to Harry Sidney Orme and Edythe Irene Hall Orme.
She married Ernest Pace on Nov. 9, 1957, and worked in Wichita, Kan., as a animal control dispatcher. She was a avid outdoorsman and loved to fish, bow hunt for deer, rock climb and bowl.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gary and Eddie Orme; and a sister, Iva Prouse.
Survivors are her husband of 64 years, Ernest Pace of the home; a son, Tim Pace of Winchendon, Mass.; two daughters, Tammie Graham of Caldwell, Kan., and Jessica Pace of Seligman, Mo.; a brother, Gary Dale Orme of Ohio; grandchildren, Cory and Raven Birmingham, Jackayle and Shayla Bruno, and Thomas, Becca and Morgan Pace; and great-grandchild, Lathan Jenkins.
Visitation is set for 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, in the funeral home.
Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, in Pace Cemetery in Garfield.
Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Horne in Pea Ridge.
