Charles W. Martin, 84, of Camden, died Saturday in Neosho, Mo. Mr. Martin was a merchant, a member of the Church of Christ and a veteran of WWI. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today at Proctor Chapel, followed by burial in Bethesda Cemetery by Proctor. Mr. Martin is survived by one son, George Martin of Joplin, Mo.; one brother, Shepherd Martin of California, and two sisters, Mrs. Esta Westbrook of Benton and Mrs. Minnie Moffatt of San Antonio, Tex. (Camden News - November 28, 1977)
