Jimmy K. Martin passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at his home in Holly Springs, Arkansas. He was born in Bonham, Texas. He was the owner of Jimmy Martin Construction and left his trademark in many places in South Arkansas. He was an avid hunter and also loved to fish.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Nannie Lee Smith, brothers, Glen Ray Martin , Billy Hyatt and Mike Martin, sister Patsy Jackson and grandson, Taylor Wilson.


He is survived by his wife, Susie Martin, two daughters, Amanda Wilson (Hal) of North Little Rock, AR, April Martin of New York City, NY, step-daughter Amy Butler of Arkadelphia, AR, one step-son, Jason Proctor (Gayle) of Holly Springs, AR and eight grandchildren Dietrich, Kyle, Logan and Gavin White and Arabelle Wilson of North Little Rock, AR, Ian and Evan Butler of Arkadelphia, AR and Jacob Proctor of Holly Springs. One brother, Ricky Hyatt of White Oak, AR, three sisters Judy Dison of Smackover, AR, Joann Evans of Louann, AR and Sandy Scott of Deer Park, Texas.


Visitation will be at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm. A Graveside Service will be at New Holly Springs Cemetery, Holly Springs, AR on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the the arrangements.
