Mrs. Ida Martin, aged 64, died at the home of her step-daughter, Mrs. S. B. Young, of Camden, Route 3, Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock. She is survived by three step-daughters, a step-son, and one sister. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Moss cemetery near Bearden by the Rev. J. L. Bowen. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. Lou Cardin of Pine Bluff; and the three step-daughters, Mrs. Clifton Reddin of Bearden, Mrs. Sims Young of Camden, and Mrs. Grover Wheat of DeQueen; and the step-son, Fred Martin of Wynne; and 20 grand children. Pallbearers were Raymond Young, Sim Young, Jr., Bruce Pate, Hugh Martin, Joe Martin and T. W. Nutt. Proctor funeral home was in charge of arrangements. (Camden News - August 22, 1949)
