Donna Sue Cates, 88, of El Dorado, passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born June 20, 1933 to W.J. "Blackie" and Bertie Mae Harrison Webb in El Dorado, AR. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Gordon Edwin Cates; and her siblings, Rebecca Ann Siegel, Charles Ray Webb, Delma "Dinky" Webb, and son, Kenneth Allen Cates.
Survivors include her children, Donna Lee McDonald of Little Rock, Terry Edwin Cates (Kattie) of Three Creeks, Steven Lynn Cates (Kristi) of El Dorado, Joey Cates (Julie) of Norphlet, Danny Cates of Hot Springs; siblings, Donald Ray Webb, Rondie White, Garland Webb; 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 4 great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Young's.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday at Young's Chapel with Rev. Doug Wills officiating. Burial will follow at Old Parkers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
