March 30, 1957 - July 14, 2019
Kenneth Allen Cates age 62 of Lillie, LA passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at his residence. Kenny was born on March 30, 1957 in Union County, AR to Donna Sue Webb Cates and Gordon Edwin Cates.
Kenny was a paving machine operator for Jet Asphalt, serving thirty plus years before his retirement. He was a hard, working man and especially enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his father
Survivors include; his mother, Donna Sue Cates of Little Rock; his wife, Debra Cates of Lillie, LA; one son, Wesley Cates and wife Leslie of El Dorado; one grandson, Micah Cates of El Dorado; four brothers, Terry Cates of Three Creeks, Steve Cates of El Dorado, Joey Cates of Norphlet and Danny "Peanut" Cates of Hot Springs; one sister, Donna McDonald of Little Rock; his two K9 Companions, Bo Bo and Rudy along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Smith officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Cremation services were provided by Bailey Funeral Home
