Hazel Evans Hunter, 87, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016 in a local hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Van Buren, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob G. Evans and her second husband, Alvin Hunter. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Williams and a brother Robert Hogue.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.
She is survived by three daughters, Jo Frances Crabtree and husband Bobby, Janice Evans and Norma Jean McAllister, all of Van Buren; one son John Hayes of Muldrow, OK.; one half-sister Mary Anita Burris of CA.; two half-brothers, Jerry Brooks and Jimmy Brooks, both of California; 8 grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Anthony McGrew, Denzel Cross, Darnell McGee, Bo Evans, Sean Evans and Ross Robinson.
Honorary pallbearers are the Ladies Sunday School Class at Van Buren First Freewill Baptist Church.
