*Obituary
Charles Edgar Evans, 75 of Van Buren, died Friday, February 11, 1994 in a local nursing home.
He was a veteran of World War II, he was a retired salesman for Speer Hardware Co., and a member of West-Ark Church of Christ, American Legion Post No. 31 and of American Association of Retired Persons.
He was survived by his wife, Lois Welch Evans; a daughter, Linda Darlene Evans of Van Buren; a step daughter, Carolyn Hoffman McWilliams of Russellville; and a stepson.
Funeral services were held in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
