Ruby M. Pepper, 93, of Junction City, AR died Friday, September 18, 2020 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. Born August 21, 1927 in Lockhart, LA; she was the daughter of Willie E. "Bill" and Avis McCraigan McKnight.

Ruby was an avid quilter. She loved church gatherings and cooking for them. She also loved to fish and also hear the fish tails. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and worked for the Jack Winter sewing factory.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Doyle Pepper; sister, Claudine Sindle; brothers, Frank McKnight, Peter McKnight, Otis McKnight and Elis McKnight; and a son, Charles Jimmy Pepper.

Survivors include her son, Ricky L. Pepper (Barbara); along with 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Olive Branch Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors with Pastor Mike Senn officiating.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Hudson Memorial and Life Touch Hospice.
