LEE, Lousina Josephine - Funeral services were held last Thursday afternoon at the home of her nephew, W.P. Hileman, on Pea Ridge for Miss Lousina Josephine Lee who passed away Oct. 2, 1929. The services were conducted by the Rev. W.C. Hutton. Burial was made in the Pea Ridge Cemetery. Miss Lee was born in Tennessee about 65 years ago although the greater part of her life has been spent on Pea Ridge where she made her home with her sister, Miss Rachel Lee. Her death was due to pneumonia following a severe attack of malaria fever.

Pea Ridge, October 4th.- Miss Louisiana Josephine Lee, 64 years old, died at the old farm home one and one-half miles west of Pea Ridge Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the home by Rev. Mr. Hutton, pastor of the Methodist church of this place. Burial was in the city cemetery. Miss Lee, who was known in the community as "Aunt Josie," lived with her sister, Miss Rachel Lee. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Lee, pioneers of Pea Ridge. She had spent her entire life here. Besides Miss Rachel Lee she is survived by two other sisters, Mrs. John Francis of Prairie Creek, east of Rogers, and Mrs. Sallie Rice, who lives east of Pea Ridge, and a brother, John, also of near Pea Ridge.
