Lester Lawson Dies At 41
Lester Wade Lawson, 41, Rogers, died Tuesday morning in the Veterans Hospital at Little Rock.
He was born April 7, 1930, in Rogers and spent his life in this area. For the past five years he had been a machine operator for Deming Division, Crane Company. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a Korean War veteran.
Lawson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vivian Ward Lawson of the home; two sons, Raymond Edward Lawson and Michael Andrew May and two daughters, Phyllis Elaine Lawson and Catherine Louise May, all of the home.
Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at Burns Funeral Chapel, Rogers, with the Rev. John Lawson, pastor of the Monte Ne Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home, Rogers.
