ROGERS — David Randal Lawson, known as "Dave" to his multitude of friends, passed on to his God's loving care Nov. 10, 2013, He was born in Tulsa, Okla., June 15, 1957.
Dave was a master carpenter, loved playing his fiddle, wake boarding and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Lawson of Rogers; three sisters, Louanne Lawson, Brenda Lawson and Carol Harris; four nieces, Jessica, Kendra and Mary Anne and Madalyn; nephew, Joe; three great-grandnieces, Ana Clover, Hailey and Lacy; three great-grandnephews, Coby, Grant and Andrew.
Dave is preceded in death by his father, Jim Lawson, who met him at Heaven's Gate and they headed to the lake, and Amen to that.
A memorial service will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Rogers, Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at 10 a.m.
Cremation arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home.
Donations in his honor can be made to St. Vincent's Food Pantry.
