The original record on this cemetery was prepared February 17, 1962, by White County Historical Society member Cloie Presley and her husband Leister, who lived at one time at nearby Clay. Then it was updated 38 years later by Leroy Blair, a member of the Historical Society who, coincidentally, also lives at nearby Clay. The cemetery is located in Section 33, Township 9 North, Range 7 West. Here’s how Mrs. Presley described it: "Going from Clay to Holly Springs, about three miles from Clay a road to the left through the woods leads to the cemetery about a half mile off the main road. It is on a beautiful pine-covered hill; the wind moans through the treetops and the graves are covered with a carpet of pine needles." She added that the Taylor family came from Tennessee.

Blair visited the cemetery July 20, 2000, and was impressed with its natural beauty. He found 28 graves that were not on the original list. Following is his report: "To reach this cemetery from Searcy take Highway 16 to Fairview Road at the north Searcy city limits sign. Stay on Fairview to about one-fourth mile north of the Holly Springs Church. Across the road from the Wayne Walls residence at 1078 Fairview Road there is a gate across a dirt road that goes out into an open field. Take that road. The road winds back into the hills about half a mile. The cemetery is on the left of the road. It is a very nice and clean cemetery. The number of graves has about tripled since the list was prepared in 1962."

Wayne and Helen Walls, who own the farm where this cemetery is located, provided updated information in December 2001. According to Mrs. Walls, "There is one grave that had a marker that wasn’t engraved, and it is broken and not in the right spot. Also, there is a rock that I was told was marking a grave."
