Hope Parker Edwards, 90, of Searcy, passed from this life February 26, 2014.

She was born May 16, 1923 to the late James Roy and Daisy Isabel Castleberry Parker.

Mrs. Edwards was a member of Four Mile Hill Church of Christ and retired from Harding University as their switchboard operator. She was a loving, caring person, and an inspiration to many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, John Harlin Edwards; and one brother, Gordon Parker.

She leaves a legacy of two daughters, Jan Felty and Donna Robertson both of Searcy; four grandchildren, Tim McDaniel, Tammy Paul, John Edward Bolding, and Mark Bolding Sr.; seven great grandchildren, Magan Reynolds, Chelsey Wilkerson, John Bolding, Jason Bolding, Jeremy Bolding, Mark Bolding Jr. and Michael Bolding; one great great grandchild, Josiah Paul Mullins; as well as a host of extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 28, at Four Mile Hill Church of Christ, Hwy 16, Searcy, Arkansas. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the church with

burial following at Holly Springs Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
