3-Year-Old Child Found In Lowell Creek

LOWELL — A 3-year-old boy was found Sunday night in a stream near Puppy Creek Road in Lowell, according to a Lowell Police Department news release.

Scanner traffic indicated emergency personnel were transporting a victim who was "code blue" from Lowell to Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale.

A Lowell dispatcher would not say whether the child had died.

The child, whose name was not released, was reported missing at 6:34 p.m. Sunday and police went to Burrell Place to look for him, the news release said.

The Bethel Heights Police Department and the Benton County Sheriff's Office assisted in the search.

The dispatcher referred all questions to the police chief, who could not be reached Sunday night.
