Mr. Kenneth E. Long, 83, of Grove, Oklahoma departed this life suddenly on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Integris Hospital in Grove, OK. Kenneth entered this life on January 17, 1930 in Baxter Springs, Kansas to the union of the late Cody and Lucy Pauline (Hoog) Long. On February 11, 1949 he was united in marriage to Rosellen Garoutte and to this union three children were born. Kenneth worked as a miner for 42 years and retired from Inland Quarries in Kansas City, Kansas. He was a member of the Christian Church, worked as a volunteer fireman and was a member of Gideons International.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 64 years Rosellen of the home, a son; Richard Long of Lenexa, Kansas, two daughters; Beverly Ann Copes of Denton, Texas and Ellen Jane Bledsoe of Blue Springs, Missouri. Two sisters; Pauline Suits of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Sara Jane Milburn of Lake Jackson, Texas, three grandsons and four great grandsons, as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Long will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 in the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri at 1:00 p.m. with the pastor Dan Raymond officiating. Burial will follow in the G.A.R. Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers will be Larry Long, Jason Copes, Brent Copes, Cody Bledsoe. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International in care of the funeral home.

Rosellen Long, 85, of Grove, Okla., was called to heaven on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla. She was born Oct. 27, 1930, in Fontanelle, Iowa, to the late Robert Rufus and Sadie Ellen (Cornelison) Garoutte.

She married the love of her life, Kenneth E. Long, and to this union three children were born. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Grove, Okla., Gideon International Auxiliary and the Christian Church Dorcas Guild. She worked at Thompson Hayward Chemical, Multiple Listing Service and Shrink Packaging in the Kansas City, Kan., area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth E. Long; and two sisters, Ina Denney and Mae Brown.

She is survived by her son, Richard E. Long of Lenexa, Kan.; two daughters, Beverly Ann Copes of Lantana, Texas, and Ellen Bledsoe of Blue Springs, Mo.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Mo. The family will receive friends at this time.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, at the First Christian Church in Grove, Okla. Burial will follow the service at the GAR Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Ark. The Reverend Ron Riley will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be given in loving memory of Rosellen to the Gideon's International, in care of the funeral home.
