Fort Smith — Marvin Samuel Allen, 77, of Fort Smith, died Friday at his home. Born Sept. 8, 1893 at Farmington, the son of Sam and Sally Hicks Allen, he was a retired aircraft employee, a veteran of World War I and a Baptist.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Elenore (Betty) Allen of the home; one son, Jack of New York City and one sister, Mrs. Nell Brooks of Farmington.
Funeral services were held Saturday in Fort Smith with burial in Farmington Cemetery.
