FAYETTEVILLE — Onno Joe Wood, 64, of Fayetteville died March 27, 1995, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born May 23, 1930, in Fayetteville to Sherman and Iris Osburn Wood. He attended the Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Smith Wood of the home; two sons, Michael Wood of Prairie Grove and David Wood of Bossier City, La.; two daughters, Donna Brewer and Janelle Acree, both of Atlanta, Ga.; six brothers, Mel Wood of Springdale, Odean Wood of Greenland, Delmar Wood, Paul Wood, Tom Wood and Lonnie Wood, all of Tulsa, Okla.; six sisters, Florene Wilkins of Fayetteville, Veoma Wentz of Van Buren, Olga Marrs and Lavoyce Little, both of Tulsa and Joan Flanery and Debbie Wright, both of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove with the Rev. Ernie Conduff officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery.
