Margaret Alice Wood

SPRINGDALE —Margaret ALice Wood, 94, of Springdale died May 20, 2000, at Holland Nursing Center North. She was born July 29, 1905 in D'Lo, Miss, to Esole and Susan Calhaun Donnell. She moved to Northwest Arkansas in 1948 from Grove, Texas, and was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Wood, in 1983.

Survivors include one son, Clyde Wood of Farmington; one daughter, Dorothy Mitchell of St Charles, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Lee Norman officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Clyde Wood Jr., David Wood, Rodney Wood, Steve Mitchell, Bob Will and Edward Hess. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Mitchell and Kenneth Freeman.
