Tuesday, January 19, 1926
MASON, Robert Lee - Robert Lee Mason, 41 years old, a native of Benton county, died at his home here on Friday night following an attack of acute indigestion. Funeral services were held here in the Baptist church on Sunday afternoon, Rev. Stephen A. Morton, Christian minister, and Rev. Luther Smith conducting the services. The remains were taken to Centerton and laid to rest in the cemetery at that place beside the father of the deceased who was buried there about 27 years ago. Mr. Mason is survived by five children - Marie, Bernice, Clayton, Lester and Ray; also by his wife and mother. Six brothers and four sisters also survive him - Wesley, Frank and William Mason of Bentonville; Dick Mason of Fall City, Neb.; Mrs. Frankie DeJarnett of St. Louis; Jessie Holt of Oklahoma; Mrs. Gertie Galyean and Nellie Nichols of Hiwasse.
